UPDATED: List of upcoming muscle/myogenesis conferences

As I did at the start of 2016, I am collating a list (see here) of interesting conferences relevant for people interested in skeletal muscle, stem cells and regenerative medicine. This is by no means an exhaustive list, so if you know of a conference (or are an organizer) then please add it to the comments section and I’ll add it to the list.

After making it to a truly fantastic conference in Colorado earlier this year, I am really looking forward to what promises to be an exciting year ahead!

New research assistant position available, starting 2017

After being fortunate enough to receive funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia I now have enough money to employ a full time research assistant within the Stem Cell Metabolism and Regenerative Medicine group. The successful applicant will work with myself and Professor Gordon Lynch on projects relating to stem cell metabolism (with an emphasis on skeletal muscle stem cells) and stem cell transplantation. First and foremost, I’m looking for enthusiastic and energetic applicants (although ‘talented’ and ‘skillful’ are also important!). The application deadline is January 15, and full details can be found here https://goo.gl/T7dd1I
